Psalm 119 has to do with the Scriptures. Every verse (with the possible exception of verse 122, which is probably due to a scribal transcription slip) speaks of the Bible under one of ten or eleven different terms. While each of these descriptive words in itself describes something fresh about the Bible that the others do not, they are so close in intent and meaning that, in this Psalm, the variation of terms is usually, if not wholly, a matter of style. We shall treat them synonymously
